Christina Maria Victor.  29. Alamo Square.
What brought you to SF?
I had nothing to lose and this was a place I was willing to go in the States.
What’s your favorite Spot in SF?
I think right now it’s probably Alamo Square Park or Golden Gate just because I have a dog and I spend a lot of time hanging out with him outdoors. So, anywhere I can just go hang out with him. I like Golden Gate a lot though. I like the park cause they make me feel like I’m not in the city sometimes.
What’s your passion ?
ummm… I don’t know…trying to find ways to translate my life…make art…be happy…keep learning from my life and the people around me.

Umm, I don’t have a particular one but there’s one that’s very close to my house, it’s called Grand View park…and people don’t really know it. Everyone always goes to Twin Peaks…and it’s kinda like a solitary hill where you can watch the public during the day…it’s really beautiful.
 What’s your passion ?
Are you going to put in everything word for word?…. oh no! Take out the bullshit, I don’t know, I don’t know yet. Just to um…enjoy my life to the fullest, travel a lot and be happy, and be in love hopefully forever. Completely love.

Music. Playing out here in 2007. Thought that was pretty cool. Lost my job a year ago. I thought, why not? It seemed like a pretty good time and thought it’d be pretty sweet… Evil Breaks though… they contacted me out of nowhere cause I was a producer…He brought me out here.
What’s your favorite Spot in SF?
I don’t know. I kinda like all of it. I don’t really want to have one favorite focused place, like it’s the diversity and being in different areas for different reasons…that’s the kind of stuff I kind of like. That’s what I liked about New York too.
What’s your passion ?
 Music. Period. That’s it.

Jennifer Michelle Faria.  26…and a half.  The Mission.
What brought you to SF?
Looking for adventure and something new. The last place I lived I lived for 8 years. I still like it, it was Los Angeles but I love San Francisco and I have a lot of friends up here so I decided to give it a shot.
What’s your favorite Spot in SF?
I don’t think I have one yet, honestly. I’ve only been in the city for 4 months. I definitely try to go to new places and explore and not necessarily go back to ones that I’ve already been to. I’m still a newbie here… so I don’t know.  I really like Bernal Heights, um sitting at the top it has a really pretty view. I think that’ll change…
 What’s your passion ?
Basically not letting work take over, not letting society or money or any of these things that people think are important interfere. I just want to be happy. I love eating. Eating makes me happy. Drinking good wine. Good company… so that’s what I think is important.

What brought you to SF?
Um, I guess what it all boils down to was a job opportunity. The hair world here is really good in San Francisco, like, I think it’s good at least. It’s pretty progressive and people are a lot more open with things, I think, and there’s a level of, I guess, artistry here that carries over to, uh, all sorts of different levels of backgrounds and incomes and everything.. like, we  can have some really cool laid back, uh, wealthy artists that have made it and are cool and you can have people that are, you know, I don’t know, just like, the variety of people, you can have people that just love what they do and they don’t care how much money they have. I moved back from Los Angeles, I grew up in Marin, so… I grew up right over the bridge. [I was living in LA] just a few years. I grew up in Marin and I tried to move to the city and there was just like, omen after omen of bad luck, like every time I tried to move in- this one guy tried to take my security deposit and I like was  knocking on his door to, like, get my security, he didn’t answer, and I was, like, kicking his door down and he came out and’s like: “Alright alright, here’s your money.” And just, like, a series of things like that happened and I was, like, “Fuck this, this is crazy.” So, um, I moved down to LA to go take extended education [at Vidal Sassoon] and I was down there for, like, a year and a half and then I got a call back from the guy that I used to work with up here and he’s like, “Come work with me again, I really want to work with you,” so I came back.
What’s your favorite Spot in SF?
umm, I have alot of ‘em… I’m stoked on, I love Farm:Table alot it’s kinda my way to kick off my day, most of the time. And I love going down to, like, the 14th and Valencia area cause there’s a really good vintage shop there called OH NO NOT NO and then right next to it, my friend Jeff Barnesworth owns a shop there that’s all mid-century modern furniture and that’s what I love. That strip’s like, my favorite. and I love 4 barrel too. It’s all good. And then there’s like thrift shop after thrift shop and I can spend like weeks going from one to another, so… I get lost in there and then I’m like, OH shit, I’m supposed to go do this… like whatever
What’s your passion ?
Oh gosh, I don’t know, I like pretty things. I like furniture. I like clothing. I like hair. I like the mod lifestyle. Mods inspire me.

What Brought you to San Francisco?
When the Dot Com Boom exploded everybody from San Francisco moved to Oakland and so I was then forced out of places that I would have lived in where I am from and so I moved here… and then “Oh Shit” you know, this thing transformed overnight…[I’ve lived here] 14/15 years. Bi Rite went from, like, 40 types of malt liquor to 40 types of Feta Cheese. No I’m teasing… It was only 3 types of malt liquor. Drug shops were there (pointing to Delfina and Tartine Bakery)… I’ve lived here for a while now, I’m not going to lie. I like that.
What is your favorite spot in San Francisco?
In front of my house. Yeah, in my garage. That’s my spot. That’s where I’m from. That’s where I kick it. That’s what I’m representing, you know. That’s how I get down. I don’t wanna, like, squat in somebody else’s neighborhood, shit, I’m Indian, that’s ridiculous for me to squat in somebody else’s shit. We didn’t migrate… that’s different, you know.
 What is your passion?
Art History. I’m a film maker. I do documentary animation. I am a community artist.

What is your favorite spot in San Francisco?
Ah, I don’t know, I mean, I like Dolores. There’s actually another little place right off of… it’s not Twin Peaks, it’s on the other side of Twin Peaks and no one knows about it…
You don’t even know the name of it!
That’s how secret it is! I don’t know the name of it but it does have a name. So, I like that place a lot.
What is your great passion outside of work?
Traveling and Studying languages. Right now I’m studying Spanish. I studied Portuguese and French. I spent a lot of time in Portugal and I’m going to Argentina this summer.

What brings you to San Francisco?
I grew up in the Bay Area. San Francisco has always been a hub of activity and it has the kind of culture/lifestyle that I enjoy, so this is my home.
What is your San Francisco escape?
Dolores Park is my backyard. Nobody has yards around here, so we all congregate at the park.
 What is your great passion?
I do films. It’s a lifestyle choice so it’s work, and hobby, (and I do that?) and it all rolls up into one.

EvaMarie Hube. 24. The mission… but technically the outer mission.
What brings you to San Francisco?
Originally it was for school, so, I’m still working on that- about one unit away from going to State, so standing tight in the mean time.
What is your San Francisco escape?
Well it’s hard when you don’t have a car (laughs). Honestly, when I would bike to the Marina for work… just biking along the shoreline, just biking along the Embarcadero, is like, always the nicest thing to do, it’s just, I don’t know, it’s just perfect around there… and as much as I don’t like the Marina, like, Chrissy Field, hanging out there on, lunch breaks and stuff… it is absolutely beautiful. And it’s really out of the way, like, kinduv, I don’t know, it’s disorienting, in like, the perfect way.
What is your main passion outside of work? Unless it is work.
(sigh)… Oh I hope not. Um, Writing. Trying to find a main goal in life, I guess.
